Isn't "gay marriage" just a deviant and cynical mockery of marriage?

Since marriage can only be between 1 man and 1 woman anything else must just be meant as a cynical and deviant mockery. Even if a state legalizes "gay marriage" it's still just the state sanctioning the deviant mockery of tradition and decency. I'm not making a judgement call about it just pointing out the obvious truth that some people seem to ignore or pretend isn't true.
