Why Are Black Students Being Told Black Inventors Invented Things They Didn't?

most of those inventions happened a long time before i was born. So i wouldn't get too excited about it. Really the typewriter? Okay, seriously who invented that? Nobody knows. Why get worked up about something few people care about.
