Whats a good starting camera (as in high-end camera)?

The Canon Rebel series is a good starting point. Very capable camera that will easily exceed your expectations in the beginning. There is also a wide range of accessories available for this line....most of which will carry over to a more advanced body should you decide to upgrade in the future.
