Yes. you need to set up a "rapid reclaim" with them immediately which you can do over the phone or online AND do a backdated claim for the period you have not been paid for with proof like the death certificate. Only God knows when you will be paid the back-payment though, the entire system is much slower now with the introduction of these new contact center's . I thought the new system was supposed to stream line benefits and make it quicker..
